Insightmaker is a free, web-based tool for systems modeling. The tool can be used to support an increased understanding of proportional reasoning and rates of change with both QL and calculus-ready students. I will provide some example activities using the tool.

I am very interested in finding ways to get students to want to learn about computation, and modeling interesting problems with easy-to-use software is a fun approach. I am also very interested in talking about and teaching just about any kind of math!!!
