I've been the treasurer for NCMATYC for three years now and very excited about networking with instructors across the state and across the country. I'm a graduate of AMATYC's project ACCCESS, cohort 9, if you're in your first three years of teaching community college please ask me how you can be a part of this awesome group. My focus is teaching statistics and quantitative literacy, but mainly statistics. I'm always looking for new ways for students to understand the world around them and make math meaningful in their everyday life. Oh and technology! I don't like using calculators in the classroom but do love teaching students new ways to solve old problems.
